Cabasse

About this resource

Cabasse develops loudspeakers and connected audio systems, with its official technology account tracing acoustic innovation back to 1950. The range is not limited to conventional stereo cabinets: the company lists classic and lifestyle speakers, connected models, home theatre, built-in solutions and systems such as LA SPHÈRE. Its engineering description covers driver design, amplification, mechanical construction and embedded software. ^{[1] [2]}

A defining feature is coaxial technology, which places several frequency-producing elements around a common acoustic centre. Cabasse describes this as a way to make sound originate from a single point; that is the design aim rather than a claim of perfect performance in every room. Other named technologies include HELD bass-driver engineering, DEAP amplifier-and-speaker processing and Dynamic Fidelity Enhancer processing in THE PEARL range. ^{[1] [2]}

THE PEARL collection illustrates the connected side of the catalogue, combining amplification and digital processing with a built-in microphone for automatic room calibration. StreamCONTROL supplies multi-source and multi-room control, including grouping listening zones. The technology page also discusses Roon Ready integration and AirPlay updates for specified connected families. Comparing these systems with the classic loudspeaker range shows the practical distinction between an integrated streaming-and-speaker solution and speakers used with separate electronics. ^{[1] [2]}
