Monitor Audio

About this resource

Monitor Audio began manufacturing loudspeakers in Cambridge in 1972 and moved to Rayleigh, Essex in 1976. Its about page describes a continuing focus on loudspeaker engineering for domestic and commercial applications. The company frames its Transparent Design Philosophy as an aim to let the recording dominate, rather than adding an obvious speaker character; that is a design intention, not an independent listening verdict. ^{[1] [2]}

The current website separates high-fidelity speaker ranges from architectural speakers and amplification. Its homepage highlights Silver Series 8G, Radius Series 4G and Climate Series 3G, illustrating conventional listening, compact system and installation-related product routes. Creator-series in-wall subwoofers are paired with dedicated DSP amplification and matched to three tiers of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers. ^{[1] [2]}

For a first visit, the distinction between freestanding hi-fi products and integrated architectural solutions is more useful than treating every model as a conventional stereo speaker. The Stories section includes engineering spotlights, installation case studies and links to published reviews. Those sections can supply design context, while Where To Buy provides the dealer route. Other documented applications include outdoor speakers, lifestyle audio, amplifiers and streamers. ^{[1] [2]}
