About this resource
Devialet was founded in Paris in 2007 and develops audio products around proprietary acoustic and electronic technologies. Its range now extends beyond amplification and home speakers to portable listening and home cinema. The company describes a worldwide retail presence, but its identity is better understood through these different product formats than through claims about awards or market leadership. [1]
Analog Digital Hybrid, abbreviated ADH, is a recurring technology in its amplifier history. Devialet describes it as combining analogue amplification with digital power and efficiency, with a newer generation used in Astra. The Phantom line represents the company’s integrated wireless-speaker approach; the current company presentation identifies Phantom Ultimate, introduced in 2025, rather than relying only on older Phantom I and II names. [1]
Astra is the component-system entry point, while Phantom Ultimate addresses home listening in an integrated speaker format. Mania is a portable speaker, Gemini II offers true-wireless earbuds and adaptive noise cancellation, and Dione is an all-in-one Dolby Atmos soundbar. The homepage also presents app-based streaming with AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, Bluetooth, UPnP and Spotify Connect; exact protocol support should be checked against the chosen product rather than assumed across every device.
