About this resource
CSS Audio is the public-facing name of Creative Sound Solutions, operated from Southeast Michigan. The company’s about page says ownership transferred from original founder Bob Reimer in June 2017. Its business combines loudspeaker components and DIY projects with finished speakers, so visitors can approach the same catalogue either as builders or as listeners looking for a completed product. [1] [2]
The homepage presents the Criton 1TD-X, Criton 3TD-X tower, Criton 3TD-XC center channel and Torii bookshelf kit. The 3TD-XC is described as a match for the tower, making the catalogue relevant to multichannel systems as well as stereo. The about page emphasizes driver testing, acoustic evaluation and established engineering methods; those statements describe CSS’s design approach rather than independently verified performance advantages. [1] [2]
The company traces its roots to DIY speaker building and describes the experience of constructing a speaker as part of its appeal. The website offers separate speaker-kit and complete-speaker sections, plus a model-comparison page. Its about page says the business is operated by two friends and is fifty percent veteran owned. The combination of kits, components and finished speakers accommodates builders and customers who want an assembled loudspeaker. [1] [2]
