About this resource
Vintage Audio operates in Coldwater, Ontario, specialising in solid-state audio repair and restoration. Its focus includes vintage equipment but the site explicitly says modern equipment is also serviced. That makes it a repair workshop for existing systems, not a manufacturer or a business limited to selling previously restored stock; acceptance is described for most makes and models rather than every possible component. [1]
Speaker work is a substantial separate service area. The published list covers surround replacement, reconing, crossover repair or rebuilding, and grille repair or re-clothing, with dust caps and gaskets also available. For DIY owners, the business offers lamps, capacitors, resistors, transistors, FETs and integrated circuits, and says it may have new-old-stock or suitable replacements for unavailable vintage semiconductors. User and service manuals are available by request. [1]
Customers may drop off or ship equipment, with local pickup and delivery and charged arrangements in the Greater Toronto Area also described. The site considers equipment purchases and trade-ins against repair work or items for sale. Its published terms separate service and sales warranties and say all sales are final, so parts sourcing, repair intake and equipment purchasing are distinct routes through the same workshop. [1]
