Tekton Design

About this resource

Tekton Design presents itself as a maker of high-end loudspeakers manufactured in the USA. Its homepage separates flagship speakers, full and mid towers, monitors, subwoofers and home-theater products. Ulfberht, Encore and Moab are featured tower designs, with the homepage linking each to its product page and presenting quotations from published reviewers. ^[1]

The Double Impact category provides more specific construction information. The centre and surround listings describe three-way designs with a proprietary polygon-oriented, seven-ring radiator high-frequency array and dual six-inch mid-bass transducers. They identify US Patent 9247339 as the design reference. The Wide Center listing also states US manufacture, making the technology and origin statements attributable to actual product descriptions rather than general reputation. ^[2]

These theatre models are useful starting points for understanding how the array approach is packaged outside large stereo towers. The category distinguishes a standard centre, a wide centre and surrounds, with product-specific dimensions and nominal impedance. The Wide Center is listed as 48 inches wide with an eight-ohm impedance, while the surround listing specifies a four-ohm design. Visitors exploring a complete system can therefore move from the tower and monitor categories to purpose-built home-theater channels without assuming identical construction across every Tekton speaker. ^{[1] [2]}
