Aperion Audio

About this resource

Aperion Audio began in Portland, Oregon, in 1998, initially using the Edge Audio name before adopting Aperion in 2001. Its founding account describes an online direct-to-consumer model intended to remove traditional distribution stages and build a closer relationship with buyers. The company identifies Wilsonville, Oregon, as its headquarters; its history distinguishes that American base from manufacturing in several countries. ^[2]

The current catalogue is broader than conventional stereo speaker pairs. Grandis is presented as a high-fidelity range, while Verus and Novus encompass tower, center and surround speakers. Theatrus addresses in-wall, on-wall and in-ceiling installation. Powered subwoofers, reflective or height modules, and Energy power amplifiers provide additional pieces for multichannel home theater systems rather than a single fixed package. ^{[1] [2]}

A distinctive entry point is the separate super-tweeter category, including a dual-firing AMT design, alongside more familiar loudspeaker and bass products. Comparing that category with the architectural speakers and two-to-seven-channel amplifiers shows the different system-building roles Aperion serves. The company also promotes an in-home audition programme and direct customer support, making the online sales and support arrangement part of its identity. ^[1]
