Steve's Stereo Service

About this resource

Steve's Stereo Service repairs and restores vintage hi-fi equipment in Buford and northeast Atlanta, Georgia. Its published service list covers stereo receivers, integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, monoblock amplifiers and turntables. The workshop separates turntable restoration from amplifier and receiver refurbishment, with upgrades offered as another service rather than described as a mandatory part of every repair. ^{[1] [2]}

Speaker work has its own section on the services page. It offers replacement of worn foam, cloth and composite surrounds, as well as crossover upgrades. These are specific repair and modification categories, extending the workshop's remit beyond electronic components. The homepage also includes a gallery of refurbished equipment; it is a record of the shop's work rather than a manufacturer's product catalogue. ^{[1] [2]}

Intake is strictly local: drop-off at the shop requires an appointment, and mail-in work is not accepted. Owners can request a repair quote through the contact route or enquire by telephone, text or email. The services page lists weekday hours and asks customers to call or email for directions, keeping the appointment arrangement distinct from an unrestricted walk-in service. ^{[1] [2]}
