Norma Audio
Italian audio-electronics maker with a catalogue of integrated amplifiers, separate preamplifiers and power amplifiers, and digital sources. Its REVO IPA-140 provides a concrete entry point into the range, combining dual-mono amplification with configurable analog connections and optional phono and USB-DAC boards.
About this resource
Norma Audio is an audio-electronics business whose official contact page identifies Cremona, Italy. Its catalogue concentrates on amplification and digital sources rather than loudspeakers. Integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, power amplifiers and remote controls are separate product categories, with English and Italian versions of the site offering routes into the same equipment families. [1] [2] [3]
The REVO IPA-140 illustrates the company’s amplifier design. Its specifications describe a dual-mono solid-state arrangement using MOSFET output devices and separate power supplies for gain, driver and output stages. The enclosure is aluminium, and the connection list includes RCA and balanced XLR inputs. The page rates output at 140 watts per channel into eight ohms and 280 watts into four ohms, with two 400 VA toroidal transformers. [4]
The IPA-140 page distinguishes optional MM/MC phono and USB-DAC boards from the base amplifier’s analog facilities, and describes configurable direct inputs for home-theater use plus preamplifier outputs. The wider catalogue lists REVO IPA-80 and HS-IPA1 integrated amplifiers, SC-2 LN preamplification, PA-series power amplification and digital-source models such as DAC-2 and CDP-2. The product pages and downloadable manuals are more useful technical starting points than the “About us” page, which chiefly collects customer testimonials. [3] [4]
