Meze Audio
Romanian headphone and earphone company founded in 2011 by industrial designer Antonio Meze. It offers open-back, closed-back and in-ear listening products, with a stated design emphasis on comfort, replaceable parts and serviceable chassis rather than treating headphones as short-lived disposable accessories.
About this resource
Meze Audio was founded in 2011 by industrial designer Antonio Meze and identifies its home as Baia Mare, Romania. Its company account brings together headphone engineering, ergonomics and visual design, with Romanian creative heritage forming part of its identity. The product focus is headphones and earphones rather than a full catalogue of loudspeakers and home-audio separates. [2] [3]
Durability and serviceability are central to its stated approach. The homepage describes modular headphones whose chassis parts can be disassembled and serviced, while the philosophy page emphasizes replaceable parts and development through repeated tuning and frame iterations. These are design commitments rather than proof of an indefinite service life; they give a concrete reason to examine construction and support alongside a product’s acoustic specifications. [1] [3]
The store separates open-back, closed-back and in-ear categories, providing a useful first division for different listening arrangements. Named entries on the current homepage include Empyrean II, Elite Tungsten, Poet, 109 Pro, 99 Classics second generation, Astru and Alba. The MY MEZE ownership hub offers product registration and support-related benefits for eligible models. Those family and ownership sections provide more practical context than treating the entire range as a single interchangeable headphone design. [1]
