George Meyer AV

About this resource

George Meyer AV repairs high-end audio and video equipment in Los Angeles, including new and vintage audio components. Its workshop is on West Jefferson Boulevard, with drop-off and shipping arrangements described on the service page. This is a repair and installation resource rather than an equipment manufacturer, although its website also includes pre-owned equipment and Pro-Ject parts. ^{[1] [2]}

The site provides separate authorised-service pages for brands including Audio Research, Mark Levinson, McIntosh, Krell, Wadia, Hegel and Jadis. Those relationships are stated by the shop and should be distinguished from a blanket authorisation to repair every brand. The services page also explicitly identifies McIntosh car-audio repair, alongside home-audio and high-end video work. Estimates carry equipment-specific fees that are credited toward the repair. ^{[1] [2]}

Local service calls cover many Los Angeles locations and can include home-theatre fault evaluation, television or projector work and installation of new audio equipment. Portable audio components are normally repaired at the workshop. The shop does not use customer-supplied parts, and its own non-manufacturer-covered repairs include a stated ninety-day limited parts-and-labour warranty. Before shipping, the intake instructions call for the shipping form, secure packaging and the applicable estimate payment; these details make the service page more useful than a generic brand list. ^{[1] [2]}
